29 Year Love Affair Still Going STRONG!
I attended Atlanta's performance of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show last night on August 14, 2026, and once again, I was reminded of why he stole my heart when I was 14 years old! The majority of his old favorites were songs, with a few newer songs added into the mix. His energy remains unfazed, and Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show kept the crowd upbeat and entertained, even though there were some minor hiccups along the way with equipment. His sound was strong as ever, and his ability to make everyone feel appreciated in attendance is unparalleled. Richard O'Brien truly enjoyed hearing the crowd sing along, and his endearing, tender nature with the little girls who came up onstage with him was heartmelting. When he imitated their dancing, the crowd roared! :) I first saw Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show in 1981 when his "Working Class Dog" album was released, and I can honestly say that each time I see him live, he is able to bring the teenager in me out in full force! I will continue to see him every time he comes to Atlanta!
